This policy covers how NY Wa$teMatch treats personal information that it collects and receives. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, e-mail address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.

Information Collection and Use

General 

• NY Wa$teMatch collects personal and company information when you register with our site. 
• When you register we ask for information such as your name, address, telephone, e-mail address, zip code, occupation, and industry. Once you register with NY Wa$teMatch, you are bound to the terms and conditions of service. 
• NY Wa$teMatch collects information about your transactions with us and with other registered users, including information about your waste disposal costs and savings. 
• NY Wa$teMatch automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP Address, NY Wa$teMatch cookies information, and the page(s) you request. 
• NY Wa$teMatch uses information for the following specific purposes: to fulfill your requests for specific materials and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for our funders.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

• Upon registration, you will select a username and a password. You agree that you are solely responsible for preserving the confidentiality of your username and your password and all activities and charges related to the use of your password, including unauthorized use. You agree not to furnish your username, password, or other information to any other party for use of the Site and Services. You agree to notify NY Wa$teMatch immediately of any unauthorized use of your personal password or username and any other breach of security regarding use of the Materials Exchange. 
• NY Wa$teMatch does not rent or sell personal information about you or your company with other people or other companies except to provide products or services you've requested. 
• We may transfer information about you if NY Wa$teMatch is acquired by or merged with another organization. In this event, NY Wa$teMatch will notify you prior to the transfer and if your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Cookies

• NY Wa$teMatch may set and access cookies on your computer.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences

• You can edit your Account Information at any time. 
• We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the NY Wa$teMatch service, such as important announcements and administrative messages, that are considered part of your NY Wa$teMatch account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them. 
• You can delete your NY Wa$teMatch account by visiting our Account Information page. We reserve the right to keep certain information that might possibly remain in our archived records after your account has been deleted.

Confidentiality and Security 

• We limit access to contact information about you to users who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information in order to complete a transaction. 
• We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you. 
• Your NY Wa$teMatch Account Information is password-protected.

Changes to this Privacy Policy 

• NY Wa$teMatch may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary e-mail address specified in your account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
